Join us for a 3-hour drop-off hiking class for homeschoolers ages 7 and up
THURSDAYS 11-2PM
STARTING IN JANUARY 2025!

- FEB. 6TH, 13TH, 27TH
- MAR. 6TH, 13, 2OTH
o Learn the fundamentals of hiking and gain an understanding of hiking etiquette and respect for nature
o Learn about directions using a compass
o Hiking safety/knowledge of proper hiking gear
o Weather knowledge and safety
o Basic survival knowledge
o Plant identification
o Animal tracking
o Nature Journaling/poetry/story telling
o Building shelters/tent set-up/picking a campsite
