Homeschooling Enrichment Thursdays

The details:

· 3-hour drop-off events from 11-2PM at our beautiful farm in Yaphank

· Open to homeschooling children ages 5 and up

· $40/child

· No refunds, only credit for a future event**

· Farm Animals

· Team Building Games

· Outdoor Play and Skill Building

· Survival Skills

· Nature Journaling/sit spot activities

· Outdoor Cooking

· Basic Carpentry Skills/Woodworking/Whittling

· Gardening

· Environmental Education

· Music in Nature

· Nature Journaling

Each month will focus on a theme based on the season. We have an indoor barn to protect us from the elements when weather does not cooperate.

We believe in allowing children to explore their interests without the boundaries of a traditional classroom. Our 7-acre farm has so much room for exploration and wonder! Connected to hiking trails leading into South Haven Park, beautiful trees and lots of farm animals, children will have access to a multitude of different activities. We believe learning is most exciting when it is hands-on, self-directed and outside in nature.

Space is limited to 20 learners.

**Refund Policy-No refunds. We offer credit for future events only. Cancelations must be no later than morning of event by 9 am should your child wake up sick. Last minute cancelations will not be honored, as people have abused this in the past for reasons other than illness.
